No problems
We were discussing the difficulty level.

It was one of the questions asked by Ohawa.

Where about in Switzerland is Weesen ???

It's here: http://map.search.ch/weesen

And the Wall is just about 5min North-East from the village.

And the Route is stated as 6a.

okay then we're at the same level apprximately... unfortunately not that close to climb together. Anyway, my time is pretty booked up with our baby now, at least for a few weeks.
Board? Just a Choc, 180...

Hey,

You all are going to hate me for this... but I am just training in South Africa and winter has been good here. So I've been practising my EC skills. Although the slopes are mostly flat, we do have a short black run, wide enough for Ec. You can fit 7-8 good EC turns there and it is enough to make anyone happy. Specially in July and August.
With quite low temperatures and good grooming, slopes stay nice and hard all day. But then we are too busy riding and no one wants to take pictures (as usual). So the pictures below were taken on a warmer day , you can see the snow being a bit wet.

To put a nice twist on things, I found a Nidecker Escape snowboard here, hanging above the bar. It was nailed to the wall. Since it is a 176cm plate binding freecarve board no one could ride it here (they had it in their ski hire), so they hanged it up in the bar. After I sealed the holes from the nails and removed a bit of paint from the base it turned out to be in excelent condition. With quite a wide waist I found it quite comfortable for EC.

Cheers
Bart

The short black slope clearly visible here. It will be extended up by next year - making it a good wide 500m run
