Hello to all.
i am new to you forum and I like carving more and more. everything I know about it tought me everts72 (who is also here) and I'm really grateful.
I am snowboarding third season now and my setup is currently goltes scorpion 168, goltes bigair bindings and northwave freedom boots.
stance is goofy and 52cm, angles are 56/45.
What are your recomendations about bindings and boots. boots are new and ridden 3 times this season but are not enoght stiff so I would like boots which are really stiff. also these bindings are more for freestyle than some curves on the track. which should I choose. and please don't tell me to buy race/EC board and hardboots because i don't have money currently for it.

what do you think about the tehnique? i know i should bend my knees more during heelside curve but i cannot, i don't have the support in boots and bindings.

bindings: F2 Race titanium, INTEC TITANFLEX
Boots: Deeluxe Indy+BTS,
i use Burton Driver X because they are stiffer than others and "it comes with RAF insert strips (Rider Adjustable Flex) that can be used to stiffen up the tongue"
and they are also confortable
i use the definition in this site

Mazyk, I won't give you any recommendations, but I'd say that if you are able to ride 56/45, it is a pretty good setup already. With my softboots I was not able to ride anything bigger than 39/33.
Also, I do not think that a decent alpine setup would be more expensive than a top softboot+ top bindings. Alpine prices are certainly bigger now than 2-3 years ago, but it is still more than realistic to get boots <100Eur, bindings <80 euro and a decent used board in a decent condition below 150 euro. It is definitely cheaper than getting, say, Catek Freerides with a pair of Malamutes. And it would be a whole of a totally different ride.
As for your fotos - your riding would certainly profit a lot if you would not reach for the snow with your inside arm on frontsides and try to avoid counterrotation on your heelsides.
Good luck!
