Some more images

Post by vkrouverk » Thursday 9 March 2006, 22:27

Unfortunately I'm too lazy and my deadline for making images available slips and slips  (only excuse I can find is that best winter in this millennium has arrived and sitting in room at such time is sin. Unfortunately no carving for me, but cross-country skiing is also very enjoyable in current conditions), but now I have made some images available at my site:
http://carving.grewu.org/gallery/ecsIII/index.htm
As you can see from index, Saturday's and Sunday's carving images (ca. 150 pictures) are not yet done. Hopefully within next week or so...

I have finally put up missing images to gallery:
http://carving.grewu.org/gallery/ecsIII/
Unfortunately quality is not what I'd like it to be (partly due to hard shooting conditions against the sun, partly due to my incompetence) but I can't work with them any more right now.
There are also zipped images available for download (for Nils, if he wants to put them to EC gallery and/or others)
Zips are available at least during this (April) month, after that I will remove them. Image gallery will be there as long as I maintain this site (hopefully I won't run out of space :P).
If someone wants originals (3000x2000), then send me note and I can put requested images up for download.

If you just leave them as they are, then nothing is wrong with it: I created these images to share passion and I'm happy, if someone else likes them. :)

But of course I appreciate, if you add my information, as someone might want to have original image. I do not have any logo, so just name (Vahur Krouverk) would be enough. Or mail address vahur@grewu.org overlaid on images, if you have tools to do this easily, I'd avoid email address in HTML code, as it could attract spammers.
Next time I try to remember to add my contact information to EXIF/IPTC, so it will be easier for album software to extract it.

Arnaud,
I liked your guide to the various spots and their suitability for EC  . My intention is to do the same with Norwegian resorts but have not come so far. Maybe Pokkis can host a review at his Oiankaivat or Flegmatic Carving site?
