need a binding advise

Post by GibMo » Sunday 15 January 2006, 14:53

Last year I ruined my old step-in Burton race plates, which have been a loyal companion to me for years, just after trying a little bit of EC after visiting this site ... txs guys!!

Since these bindings where not available anymore, I bought regular ones. But now I need to sit down most of times to lock in the boots. I find this annoying.

Apart from trying some more EC on nice slopes, I like to have a comfortable ride most of times. So I want an Intec solution (despite not very suitable for EC), no critical plastic parts, maintenance free, available throughout Europe... and not as expensive as the Catek or the Bomber.

I read a poor review on F2 Titanium somewhere, being a very stiff and unforgiving binding. Last week in Italy I saw PhiOkka Intec’s. But no reference on their site. Does anyone have experience with these bindings?

My boots: Raichle 324 (size: 27,5). Oldies, but yet suitable for Intec, I believe???? Or do I need special intec heels for these boots? I will probably buy new boots next year.

What else do I need to complete a nice set???

Please advise….
