RAB home made on Burton boots?

Post by SITO » Tuesday 10 January 2006, 9:00

Hi Guys,

Anybody know if some of the home made RAB ,would be suitable for working properly on Burton boots?

My wife has the "fires" but they are very stiffer for her; even using them on walk mode my wife can not bend her knees, because her boots also on this mode can not be bending at all.

Hi Sito,

If the boot is too stiff even in walk mode, I doubt a spring system change something !
But maybe some "cutter" enhancement in the shell is possible ... (we can "analyze" this during ECS)

Could you post some photos of the shoes ? We will see if a system is adaptable.

Hi Sito,

I just modified the Tongue of my Northwaves --> Their flex is much better now and even more at the right place of the tongue. If you have further interest, please let me know.

Can you please send me some pictures of the fire boots (especially the walk / forward mechanism? picnicker74 AT web DOT de I'd like to look at it and see, what I can do ;) But no promise...

Sorry to all,

unfortunately I will have to go to northern Italy to a nice Snowboard resort from Tomorrow afternoon on. --> Testing ;) I have a lot of work to do until then, so I think pictures and pimp manual will have to wait until middle of next week.

So long
