Is there agreed time for group photo? Last year I (and some other persons) missed group photo, in order to avoid this it would be good to agree some time beforehand. Something like: Saturday and/or Sunday @ 11:00 near station, in case of cloudy weather (but with possiblity for sun later to get really good pictures) new time will be informed near station at this time...
And this name tag last year was good idea IMO

, is someone able to do something similar this year also?

We'll perhaps a stupid question but we should be leaving from Lyon on friday to ECS, returning sunday evening and we have one place in our car, is anybody interested?

Jacques has been to Grimentz and Zinal last week, and Zinal man confirmed it too:

- Conditions in zinal , especially on La Corne and Barthelemy are too risky for EC ( too many stones). Only Durand ( the far left slope) is ok, as well as the very steep black that goes back to the village (the one with the safety nets).

- Conditions in Grimentz are ok, thanks to artificial equipment: Snow is going to be hard, but is rideable for EC conditions. Grimentz even has a snow park where Jacques will display his new 1080 mule grab trick.

In case it snows more than 20 cm, it will be ok in Zinal, but for the time beeing, the ECS is scheduled for Grimentz.

This is how things will work:

0800-0815 hour:
meeting same place as usual ( zinal lift parking): Everyone goes to the lift booth with the paper they received after paying the packages: they will receive: lift passes that are also good for Grimentz, and the dinner proof of purchase. Others with no pre paid packages will be able to buy it then.( the dinner can be purchased in the evening before taking the lift too if needed)

0830-0845 hour:
Going back to the cars, and filling them with everyone then drive the 8 min drive to Grimentz, unload, take the lift and ride till 1600-1700 hour

People that are late will be informed in Zinal to go to Grimentz.

Meeting point in Grimentz uphill is unknown yet, but likely it will be at the main Gondola arrival ( hard to miss)

No Virus Demos.
Had a call to Frank yesterday. Not any single demo board available for ECS. Maybe one or two guys will participate, who have demos with them for a longer time, but every other board is at exhibitions or at the SES.

problem is frank had not time to produce more demo boards, because he was full production for swoard!
Next year hopefully SES is not at the same time!

OK Took notice of switching from Zinal to Grimentz.
Is it defintive ???
When will the "official" station be fixed ??? On the day ?
I just don't want to miss you when I 'll be there on sunday ( and save driving time beetwee the stations if wrong

)

It really looks like we might have a few narrow race boards to test with some kickass bindings!!!.. very interesting stuff... so save your money for your new SWOARD and for something more!!!

Meeting is, as said previously on zinal parking lot near the lift.. otherwise you 'll not be able to get the ski passes anyway!
