DeeLuxe boots

Post by Jakob » Monday 24 October 2005, 10:55

Hi everyone!

The new season is nearly here and it's time for shopping some new gear. Anyone has any news if there will be any changes on deeluxe's boots? They are supposedly working with some experts that worked for Burton's hardboot equipment and as there weren't any significant changes on Indy in the last couple of years I was wondering if there's something new coming out. Nothing can be found on the net but the shops are receiving new stock in the beginning of November!

Anyone has any insight?

Bye,

Jakob

Hi Jakob,
I've checked few days ago on Blue Tomato web site, and the Indy 06 seems to be the same as the Indy 05 on the picture. I know that it is only a picture, but in the comments, no improvment or modification are mentioned.
I plan to go to Lyon next week, I will try to get more informations there.

Other boots

No changes for Deeluxe. Only some minor changes in the UPZboots. But here also no changes in the boots themselves, the molds are all the same, like they are for years now. Bomber will come out with a springsystem for the Deeluxeboots.

Pokkis,
Right now hope to have the BTS read for ship before the end of December but may be as late as January. Will be announced on the site when ready. Sorry for the delay.

Experiences with shipping from Bomber

Post by Hans » Saturday 26 November 2005, 18:05

Bomber ships their goods real fast. You will have to pay taxes over the amount of purchase and taxes over the shippingcosts. In the Netherlands I pay about 24 till 27% of taxes and other sh........ to the customs. Just bought a Canadian Coiler. All went well.

Hello Hans,

have you seen new UPZ boot already? I wouldn't call this minor changes, as every week point (in my eyes) was improved. They changed the tongue, which was way too stiff, they had other really minor changes, but above all, they totally changed teir liner, so you can call this a boot now.

Poor boots. Ebay.de sale now AF700 for 300CHF. This also is not masterpiece, but unambiguously more good than upz.
