Is it recommended to have any camber(tilt) on your boots for EC?
I have some Raichle with a 5 settings and usaly ride at 3..
Or is it reccomened to have it at 5 ? (straight up?)
Also at the lower angles (front 55) I have a little boot hang on the back boot. (at 47'sh) Is this ok ? it is on a thinner board (wild duck knifer 171 hahah)
thanks

It's hard to answer that.paappraiser wrote:Is it recommended to have any camber(tilt) on your boots for EC?

With 5 you can stand straight, but you can't bend so you will have a very poor push-pull, and won't be able to absorb terrain.
With 3 you can't be straight, it's a bit unatural and limits your push-pull.
Most of us think riding in walk-mode is better, or even taking out the whole system. But it requieres you to have very strong legs, or you'll be tired very fast.
The best solution is mounting a spring system to help you flex and stand. We are calling it a 'RAB' (after the name Raichle/Deeluxe call it on their boots) you'll find topics on that if you search the forum.
It's ok if you don't want to EC, just normal carving wouldn't be a problem. But if you want to go low, you just don't have any choice: more angle.paappraiser wrote:Also at the lower angles (front 55) I have a little boot hang on the back boot. (at 47'sh) Is this ok ?
