Basic extreme carving techniques

Post by RalphHandley » Monday 19 September 2022, 20:08

Hello everyone.

I’m new to extreme carving. So what are some basic extreme carving techniques a beginner can practice? I look forward to learning from all of the nice and kind people here.

:bravo: The Web pages that started it all, 20 years ago!
We can add other links.

 Various useful information here: FAQ.

 Summary of our original technique: here.
Attention, the word "extremecarving (EC)" is overused for everything and anything in carving. It is a complete philosophy: ride technique, boots, bindings, setup, ideal equipment (= Swoard).

 Caver's Almanac: here.

 EC co-founder Patrice in action: here, and in slow motion here.

 Petr's videos on YouTube, to watch in this order:

Students can watch 1000 videos, at some point it is necessary to take a course or to get individual tips. That's why we organized 58 events so far, and that Sébastien, Vincent & others Swoard EC instructors are making EC camps (to be published soon).

Don't miss the Swoard Demo Tour 2023.
You can test the original EC boards, participate in courses and meet the Extremecarving community. :bravo:

See you and welcome! 8)
