18th ExtremeCarving Session, 2021: Feedback, pictures, etc.

Hello to everyone, to those who were able to come and to those who unfortunately could not!

:D :silly: We made the impossible, in the midst of a pandemic and while so many resorts are closed in Europe! The spirt of a "session" has been kept and we could ride our reserved slope for great carving and extremecarving. The conditions were excellent on Sunday. :bravo:

Though we had to make it very simple (no dinner, no party, no stand), we were so happy to share great moments on the snow. There were mainly Swiss riders and some Frenchies who could come, because of the Covid-19 restrictions at the borders, for a total of 42 persons. But next year we will come back to "normal" events and we will meet our friends from all over the world again.

Staying positive, we go ahead with passion for our sport. Thank you to all the riders who managed to come and did bring their smiles! :D

Below there are some pictures. No photo group this year (it was forbidden), and no movie. With the surgical masks, it's not something we will keep for the best souvenirs. :?

At the moment we don't know if the session in Italy will take place (13-14 March 2021). The resorts there are still closed. If they open, the last-minute session could be like the one in Zinal: no stand, no dinner, only riding together on the same slopes. Follow the info in the subject related to the Swoard Demo Tour 2021.

The dates are published in the subject related to the Swoard Demo Tour 2022.

See you as soon as possible and healthy! 8)

Thanks again to all of you! It was a really nice session, even though it took place in a special context.

Not many of us will be able to say: "I was there, in 2021!" ;-)

It doesn't show on the pictures, but on Monday we had a lot of fun in the powder! 8)

See you soon for new carves! :silly:

A great moment, a "special" atmosphere, but it's always great to meet friends at Zinal... and to make new ones too...
As often, on Monday it was awesome with fresh powder. :evil2:

Again a big up for the resort, who gave us a reserved slope again :bravo: and thanks for everything they did to open despite the pandemic.

I'd like to tell you "see you in Pila" but as said, it would be more realistic to give you rendez-vous in Val-Thorens for La Grande Première at the end of November.
