Does anyone have a direct comparison of the Backland Carbon to Hawx XTD for general carving (not touring)?

Got to try on the XTD today and it felt great in 27.5. I have a 24mm wide board. Is the extra beef of the XTD worth having to run higher angles (due to extra BSL length)? Is the higher cuff of XTD actually more helpful?

Or is the backland shape just right for general all mountain carving (east coast firm groomers and resort chop)?

Hawx xtd and Backland (carbon or not) have the same system, "frictionless pivot", the hawx are just longer. Without a spring system they will not be helpfull for carving both. With a spring system instead of the original hook Backland are softer and will give you more frontside flex than the Hawx.
I ride my Backland carbon with the LPSS for EC,very pleased with them I don't need higher cuff.
Hope it will be usefull.

Yes I have a few sets available.

You'd better use Backland for EC, with the LPSS system it's the shorter boot you can have.

This post was made to introduce a low profile system to keep the shorters boots as we can. Your system don't meet that goal...
You pollute the post, that's not correct :naughty:

Salut Drupi,

https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/ur ... xdpfOQQ&e=

@Drupi, I am a peace full man, I never write on your posts to introduce my system, you did... That's the difference. No exclusivity, just making something different, before you indeed.

Ciao Edouard ,
quindi dei tuoi dubbi sinceramente non me ne importa niente e ti ripeto PACE and LOVE

@Edouard "extremedoudou"

Buongiorno,
