Hello everybody,

1. The winner of the Public Award is known since the end of the poll here:
"Laborbedingungen (Laboratory conditions) - Extremecarving Hintertux 2017" from Lambert Blass (3min38)

The other Awards have been announced during the dinner of the 15th ExtemeCarving Session, on 27th January 2018 ! The 7 members of the international jury were Patrice (Switzerland), Tali (Russia/Canada), Arnaud (France), Pietro "H2O" (Italy), Jörg "joemzl" (Germany), Rob (Canada) and Peter "yomama" (USA). They voted before the meeting and applied the rules of the Contest given here.

2. The winner of the Best Editing or Script Award is:
"Snow Kiss" from Angel Fonseca (2min28)
Congratulations again!

3. The winner of the Best Riding Award is:
"Tango for two" from Matti Kangaspuro (1min45)
Congratulations!
Note that the Swoard EC instructors could not participate in the Contest for this Award.

Another movie has been appreciated a lot by the jury, especially for the work made with a drone and different images of extremecarving. That's why a Special Award has been added:

4. The winner of the Special Award of the Jury is:
"HoverRIDE" from Anthony Brouard (3min29)

The prizes are four Swoard snowboards.

Thanks to all the other participants. Their movies are nice too! They all have great things or ideas, and show different aspects of our sport and the community. It was really difficult for the jurors to take their decisions.

Yes, and he is the only rider who has won an Award in the 1st Contest (in 2014) and in the 2nd Contest (in 2018)!

You are right! It has been difficult for the 7 jurors to take decisions about the films, as they all have good ideas and show different things.
