...quite a nonsense Poll but id like to know
when l use a Tbar I sit like a Skier and just lean into my boot this is by far the most comfy way to me because my eggs dont get crunched

.
and it really makes sence to me if you ride with steep angles. the liftboys are always a bit confused and i ve never seen anyone else lifting that way.
whats your style?

No idea what'ya talkin' about---luckily we no longer have T-Bars in U.S. & Canadian ski resorts -- all those fat yuppies in the U.S. need to sit on comfortable ski lifts with their fat asses.
I remember having used them in Europe (Dolomites & Austria) but don't remember how I sat on them - sorry. I only remember that I sweat bullets every time, praying that I wouldn't lose my balance with my snowboard while riding the dang t-bar. (But I was a bloody beginner on the board then).

usually snowboarder put the TBar, or Anchor as we call it, between their legs and it only pulls on the inside of your frontleg

. skiers just sit back like on a thin chair.

Hi Tigger...
Hard balls are the solution

Not only in this case, but of course between my legs like a real man does with his horse *LOL*

like a skier.... but for quite unusual reasons....got a dumb spot on my right a.. - exactly where the t-bar touches it - where I don't sense anything (after a motocycle accident) so lifting like a skier is quite comfy for me.
Sorry but cannot suggest this solution for everyone....

I change. Both get's uncomfy on a long day. Holding on only to warm up in the morning.
On steep and sidewards hanging lifts I do not step out and ride up normally.

Yo, indeed, hard-balls are the solution!
I've seen guys putting a pillow in the trousers to make it more comfy

Oops, that is even worse. Hard-balls are of no use in that case. What we'll need a is tough butty hole
Cheers,

I was wonderring what the trend is in de valley?(or in switserland)
Are there big plans to change most of the "hard-balls"-lifts to chair lifts?

That's what I hate about Greek mountains... the resort wouldn't dare to waste money on a chair lift

They are mostly t-bars, even going up black diamonds (no joke).

Then sit back and enjoy the ride!

Hey tigger,
thanks for this nonsense poll - at last I know I am not the only one lifting "normal"
Not only because it is much more comfortable for my balls, but also for my front leg 'cause I can put more weight on my back leg when lifting !
Hang loose !

Ahem, could someone please explain how the 'normal' ski style works?

I can't figure it out.
Let's say I ride with regular stance. So where to with the t-bar if if not between the legs? (Ouch!)
Thanks!
