Trying to get started for this season. Anyone have any good snow reports yet?

Related to this: Which ski destinations pistes have good experiences for EC. For example,

The red run from Nagens at Laax, just below the restaurant, was pretty quiet in the mornings. For some reason not shown well on the interactive map. Its not perfect or steep enough, but I will take a quiet piste to practice on.

cheers,

Did you ever try Lenzerheide or Davos?

Tried them both and know them well, but not this season (2015/2016) yet! Primus is a pretty good rental shop at Lenzerheide - can rent hardboots and carving boards..

Not sure how you feel about the Ortler Arena area. Nauders, Austria also has a lot of action.
Many boarders I know go to Kaunertal. Toggenburg has gotten a lot of snow this season.
However, we know the Ortler Arena the best. We were in Schöneben today and the slopes
couldn't be better! Enjoy!

Hey Puhutes, if you in Schöneben you might catch up with Kai and his son, both swoard riders. They are there for the weekend. Also try the next skiing area Haideralm. They have much steeper and the same perfectly groomed slopes

Cool Capykiller!
I know my husband saw them from far away and I saw the both of them as they were leaving for the day.
Too bad we didn't get a chance to talk to them,
Greetings Jennifer
