New EC

Post by hotracer » Wednesday 28 January 2015, 22:13

Hi,after not riding for four years I have decided to get back into snowboarding and having seen a video of EC I am hooked, I spent twelve years riding 300 plus days a year on all sorts of race boards, starting on Burton Pj's then Primes, the Oxygens finishing on custom made Coiler pure race 184 and a Simms Burner 197, which is very scary to ride!! I am about 182cm tall and weigh 80kgs, so I am trying to figure out what board to ride, I am looking at a Swoard 175 M, is there any other recommendations, for boots I have Deelux 325 and am blessed with a smaller foot, 26,5MP so no toe drag! Binding I am still using Bomber TD step ins, will this be OK for now? Can a Swoard be ridden like a ordinary race board as well? Any help would be great
Thanks
Graham

Hi,
Just to answer your question... YES a SWOARD can be ridden like an ordinary race board (and that is what i am doiing) but this is NOT the point ! What a SWOARD can do is EC !!!
I really hope once to be able to EC...
I am an experienced snowborder also doiing even faster SKWAL but EC is just... a dream.
I think you have the right boots but not the right bindings.
