Hi, SITO

It is just a very small italian company which produces customized (Worldcup) raceboards for about EUR 600.--. So I think cheap for such a board. Just boards for a nichemarket. So they make the specs how you want to have them, radius, sidecut, length and so on. Boards are used in the competitions right now. (I have seen them in Landgraaf this season, so did I have seen the Kesslers, the custommade Volkl, VIRUS and so).

Greets, Hans.

A few Dutch slalom boarders ride Tomahawk. They have only one shape and, like Hans said, you can specify length, radius, stance, waist, etc. The prize are 640,- EU + 80,- EU shipping. So, over € 700,- for a custom board. The quality of the boards are okay, same goes for the finish.

I will do it for less with Donek! Since recently i have become the distributor of Donek Snowboards in Benelux. I sell Race, Freecarve, Axis, Phoenix and also the custom (like Tomahawk you can specify whatever you want). But, let's not make this topic a commercial one, otherwise Nils will kick my ass :-)

greets,

Arjan

yes even isabelle blanc rides tomahawk customs, after riding on tropical tubes, another small italian custom maker.

Isabelle rides for HOT

Post by nils » Thursday 16 December 2004, 19:10

She rides for hot so the boards have a HOT graphic :)

But as most pro boards, these are full custom...
Appart from Swoard and other alpine boards, you see rarely guys doing nice things on factory boards :)
