Special goggles for extremecarving

Post by fivat » Monday 11 November 2013, 16:30

We are developing a new model of goggles, specially made for extremecarving. :D ;-)

Indeed Julien (l-ju, a Swoard EC instructor) is often scratching his goggles on the snow. The pictures below show the problem on the backside. 8O 8)
No kidding, the goggles were really scratched after the run when we checked them. :silly:

Maybe he should add a piece of P-Tex 4000 Electra.  :evil2:

On our homepage we should add the hint: please wax your goggles if you wanna be fast. (el = extreme laughing)

But: egc (extreme great compliment) to Julien - would like to have his problems. :silly:

It's worst when the sunlight goes through scratched areas inflicting blindness...

Dear all,

This issue is mainly due to recurrent remarks from Patrice during 2 seasons.
He was always saying "you can lay down more on the backside, your head is still too far away from the slope, could be better (young padawan)"... he was totally right.
Now I can only say: "lower?... you scratch!" :silly:
Not satisfied to destroy pants & jackets, I've now to add the goggles in the list of my consumables. Luxury problems ???? :wall:
Fortunately the only good investment in all this story is the board itself, I've never managed to kill one since 10 years... these Swiss guys can't be blamed for the quality of their products. :bravo:

Cheers,

Julien

At the end of the day, congratulations should go to Patrice itself who managed to shoot this picture with a perfect timing. :pray2:
