Very cool! :bravo:

Damn, how can you get so much snow on the trees? 8O I saw this in Canada too, but very very rarely in the Alps. Different climates...

That is usually man made snow from snow making machines there, except in windy places it can be real one :)

In koli one thing causing the snow (both from cannons and natural) to stick on the trees is the location (the hill rises right from lake shore) and this seems to have an effect especially when the winds are coming from the lake (even though it is obviously frozen in the winter time). There's a distinct elevation line below which the trees carry a lot less snow than higher up. And "higher up" isn't that high since the top is 437m above sea level and the slopes have max height difference of 230 metres.
ps.
Happy new year to all fellow trenchdiggers! :birthday:

Thanks Patrice!
I was in Koli for sharpening my Swoard for ECS .
Me and Luomu had nice clinic for that in the middle of the beutifull nature :clap2: .
It´s a shame that video I shot while Luomu rode were not technically so good though riding was great  .

Matti and Luomu have done "perfect or at least best" ec-turns in Finland slope Koli, and shared their ride with nice footage!

I would like to use advantage and promote Ojankaivajat.org Koli session 22-24 March. Session is free for everyone. Weekend includes free riding, EC-clinic with filming, Ojarace final (Sunday/open race with GS type course). Saturday we have nice social evening at Hotel Koli. In addition of beautiful nature, slope Ukko is 33 degrees steep :bravo: So if you don't have anything better to do or you accidentally hanging around, just join us and tie off season in Koli :clap3:
