Tourists

Thats great, so anyone knows at one short view - a tourist is comming.
So lifts like them, where I saw this warning (see photo), withe icy, rutted tracks would not be good for You!
Glad you like the tourists, because otherwise it would be quiet empty in your home country. Swzitzerland is still a very beautiful country but too f....g expensive for a family holiday. Or do you know places to stay for a decent price??

By the way no probs here with rutted and icy pists  , I noticed that with my both feet locked in it cost me less energy to make use of the towlift.

Has anyone tested the TD3 now and could post a quick review please?

Thanks

No they are now in steel and no longer aluminum.
Works fantastic.
I just switched from using titaniums and titanflexes, and first impressions are really good.

That is one thing that I do not like is standing so high from the board. That is what's keeping me from jumping to get the TD3.

How does the height of TD3 compare to Catek's OS2 with D3?

What are these "high-end" low profile bindings you refer? Please point the way.

Thanks.

Post by Hans » Saturday 18 April 2009, 9:45

Yes, the skwal setup is available, standard is sold out till november 2009:
http://www.bomberonline.com/store/bindings/skwal.cfm

Also sold out with POGO but the stepin version is still available:

I just modified my TD3 stepins so they would fit my Cyborg EVO Titanal.

I modified the TD3 Ering (elastomere) and the cantdisk a little so they would fit the width of the Cyborg. I just tried them on a 'normal' Cyborg titanal and they work like a charm. I also made a 2mm rubber gasket under the binding because I don't like the metal centerdisk mounted directly on the titanal. This board is really a blast.

Yes, I will be at the CM2009. You can find me at the list Silverpass number 6: http://www.carving-masters.de/teilnehmer.html

Hope you are there too, there will be many Cyborgriders there, so we can catch up and learn from each other, that would be nice. I will be arriving at fridayevening. At friday I first will take aonther glacier: stubai. Will also be monday on that stubai glacier because Soelden will be closed then.

For more info, I have send you a PM.

TD3 toe bail

Post by leeho730 » Thursday 19 November 2009, 16:41

I love the toe clips.

And both toe and heel blocks have hard stops, so they're not floppy anymore. And toe clips won't go over the edge and get jammed.

I was lucky enough to secure some titanium heel bails (before Fin stopped making these). Fits perfectly.

TD3 is such an awesome product... Can't wait to try this on the snow :D
