Thanks Vitaly!
Ups, be carefull starikashka, I didn't want a statement about this isue from You. It was not my intention.
I thought You are talking above from Your friends riding on Snowboard / meeting Zinal.
I can not say anything now about ECS Zinal 2010.
I talk about the ministers, because they want to invite them to the memorial day of 210 Year's genaral Suworow's army was in Switzerland. At Andermatt, it's not far away from Zinal, there is a great Suworow-memorial, build by Russians on a small territory of Russia.
If You walk back 1 km, You will come to a chairlift for skiing. But there are also 3 more interesting stations there, with steep slopes, but sometimes with a lot of snow. So You have to retract Your head undercrossing the skilift-masts!

any kind of boots and bindings.

copy / paste
My 2 cents
It is possible to EC on a skwal or a door or anything one wants.
But does one have the *best tool* that has been developed and refined for years by the two best EC riders on the planet?
It is easy to copy the outline of the Swoard but does the designer know the requirements, forces and constraints specific to an EC board? In the many cases, a copied board is built by a designer who does not know how to EC and claims that the board was designed for ECing.
When I first saw J&P's video, I dreamed (like most of us here
) to carve like them.
When the Swoard units hit the market, I immediately grabbed one and setup the board/boots/bindings exactly like J&P’s recommendations. By doing so, I rooted out all unknown parameters and solely focus on my technique.
Correct tool + years of fine tuned setup = exponential improvements
If I had another board, I would spend a lot more time on the slopes to fine tune board/boots/bindings to get, at best, a close behavior to the Swoard. And time on the slope to fine tune = $$.
That being said, I applaud our fellow Koreans for sharing their carving film with us on our forum and wish them a lot of fun ECing.

Wow
what a snowspray behind you
) can i get a hires foto to put on my desktop? Are you ECing on powder?
P.S.: right setup just a tool - not sure that it can significantly increase level of ECing ( i like that saying
)) ). One need a hours of hardwork on slope and after looking on own videos.

Nils,
Unfortunately, the pix was derived from a camera film, so no high resolution pix. Next time I head to the slopes with my bro, maybe we'll get some more pix in.
starikashka,
Thanks for your comment but it was not a powder day, just a "regular" hero snow day on a slope a steep slope.
