The biggest snowboard producers in Europe for 04/05 - I know its old but quite interesting I think - Total estimated production in Europe for that season a little below 1 Mio., In total 6 Mio. boarders in Europe, 13 Mio. Worldwide: By Now China is the biggest source country for snowboards.

1. Austria
OLDENBURG for Burton,… around 20.000 pieces (Note - factory went bankrupt in 2007 after Burton stopped all orders in 2006 - Now KEIL is the main producer for all Burton snowboards not made in Vermont)
ATOMIC for Atomic, Quechua,…around 25.000 pieces
ALLACTION for Palmer,… around 30.000 pieces
KEIL exclusively for Burton around 110.000 pieces
GST for forum, Santa Cruz, F2, Jeenyus, Flow, Arbor (?), OEM, …around 115.000 pieces
PALE for Nidecker, Head, Crazy creek, Duret ( new since ?), mainly produce for entry market, also produce many skis as OEM, OEM, … around 180.000 pieces
ELAN for Elan, Nitro, Option, Sims, Salomon, Scott, Head, SG Snowboards (new) …around 180.000 pieces Note: according to Elan information it's the biggest snowboard factory worldwide. Mainly produce boards for the upper-market.

There are also a few small manufactories like Nobile......

2. Spain :
ROSSIGNOL for Rossignol, Hammer, Dynastar, Roxy, K2 (?),… around 180.000 pieces

3. Germany : - Now China Only - Only top level skis still produced in Gerany
VOLKL for Volkl, Nitro, Rad-Air…around 45.000 pieces

Note: Other small factories include: Jester/Powderequipment, LTB, Virus, Pogo ...

4. Poland:
NODILE for Burton, Fanatic,…around 30.000 pieces

5. Bulgaria :
PAMPOROVO for Oem,…around 25.000 pieces

6. France :
SALOMON for Salomon around 25.000 pieces (not anymore - now moved to Tunisia (at Nidecker) and Romania)

7. Suisse :
NIDECKER for Nidecker, Swoard (since 07/08 ),.. around 20.000 pieces (now <10.000)
(around 100.000 boards now produced in Tunisia for Nidecker, Salomon and others)

Source: European Snowboard Market season 2005/2006, Boardsports Consulting Rémi FORSANS, and some modifications to reflect actual conditions.

For Bindings: I believe Snow Pro (SP) in Slovakia is one of the biggest producers, I could think that F2, Head, and several others are produced at SP.
