Yeah Sigi produces the only real kids raceboard line, develloped together with the Styrian race team of the "Schladminger HAK" - which is fighting with the better known (cause of skiing) Gymnasium "Stams" for domination in the Austrian snowboard scene. He put up the line after complaints by the stryrian coaches that not even Kessler has any good raceboards for kids.
The small boards are same build quality as the ones ridden in the worldcup by the adults.
Some kids from my local race team will ride the boards from next year onwards. Well two are attending Schladming from next year onwards so they are now part of the Styrian race team instead of the Snowboardbase East Austria.
The boards are however produced at Elan Austria, like supposedly over 30% off all snowboards sold worldwide.

Thats BS, Goltes are made at Elan - though I think Elan Slovenia and not Elan Carinthia like SG Snowobards (that's because I got told by SG that Elan promised to them to let SG be their exclusive alpine brand for racing produced in Carinthia) - at least i got that information from someone selling Goltes boards. Constructionwise Goltes look way better build than any Choc/Trans I've seen so far - but I haven't seen any produced during the last 2-3 years though.
Lots of mid-level (like low FIS points) people love the Goltes and consider to get next GS from Goltes. Goltes 18x is so far my most liked freecarve board. Very stable, damp and great great edgehold. Most stable board without titanal I've tried so far and with 15m radius perfect for GS if you don't have the skills and power to use a 19-21m radius board. Janis Goltes is a great guy too and very honest (like saying that his boards are not fast enough for any worldcup racer and he doesn't have the money to invest to make such boards, but really made for the average 20-50days a season rider and low level racer)
I don't know if Choc/Trans got its own fractory though???

I will check where are made Goltes boards, but i think that Felix has right.
But definitively has right, that Goltes boards are good boards. I have two of them at home and I'm very happy with them, although lot of people said, that Goltes sux!
But that is not true!
I can proof this with video:
And Felix..you know..it is Jani not Janis.

so I asked one guy from Goltes factory, and he said, that all boards are made in same factory as most boards..so in factory in Austria.
..but..high level boards like ProCarve & Extremecarve(??) are made in Czech Republic from some guy which his name I don't know.
But newness for this season is that, all ProCarve boards will be made from titanal-like Kessler.

Huh - you're sure about this?
Jani told me in Ischgl that he and Rok Flander as well as other testriders were not yet satisfied by the Pro Carve Titanal Prototypes and told me that he would need one more season to get the titanal stuff going. The same goes for the plates he is develloping. So it must mean that they made great progress.

Sure?..hm..I'm pretty sure, becouse he told me, but if Jani told you other things, then Jani has right.
We'll se soon who has right when I get new Goltes boards.

The makers of Choc (known in Germany as Trans too). Unfortunately this year they're not producing the Race series B 180cm but only 175 and then a 184cm with 18m radius. Anyway very good boards - but probably too stiff for EC.

Board? Just a Choc, 180...
Elan make boards only in Austria, they make 2 brands of alpine boards there. SG boards (you can't get them through Elan people no matter what kind of connection you have) and Elan boards (Ballistic type) which are not for sale in their shops and are made from time to time only to supply young competitors.Felix wrote:... According to my info Goltes boards are made in Bulgaria by Austrian company PALE.
