have u evere been to Chile in south america (in case u don't know where it is).
I know almost 2 ski resorts with similar conditions to the one you are showing: PORTILLO and TERMAS DE CHILLAN.
The only problem is that they are a bit far away ah?
But it is winter when you are in summer

Yeah, well fly fishing is a nice sport, but did u know that there are plenty of unexplored wild mountains in the region? with tons of powder every year.
I have been a skier since 7 but somebody showed me this site. I saw a french man 9 years ago doing EC and I wanted to throw my poles to the garbage. I will start prcticing alpine snowboarding this season, actually we had our first storm already, and I will like to ask what kind of boots (brand and model) do you recommend to start?
And when you wanna check Portillo out, I have a house 45 mins from there, you are invited.
cheers
Rodolfo

Hey Patrice,
I've been to Verbier for several times already and I think you might know the Grand Raid Cristalp. I Was passing Evoléne and Grimentz, maybe I've even been closed to Zinal then. But of course I didn't see any slopes in August
![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
) Funny, that my extremebiking resort is your extremecarving-spot!

Recently. When we decided to organize an Extremecarving Session, we had to compare some Swiss/French resorts. We know Zinal very well: it has many advantages you will discover... We also know the boss (a young and open minded guy). Then we are sure the slopes will be well groomed especially for us.

Moreover you will get cheap skipasses at this event. More info on 17th November.
Hopefully we can meet you skywalker!

By car Grimentz is 12 minutes away from Zinal!! (10 when Jacques is driving

Yes, very funny. These small resorts (except Verbier which is not small
![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
) are not really known outside Switzerland. Fortunately
