Talking about LOOONNGGG boards:
Marc from Oregon was at Zinal's ECS08 with a very long board.
On the group photo that is published on this site, it is very easy to pick him out since Marc's board surely sticks up above all others.

Marc: if you read this, how long was it?

Cheers,

Longest jibber-board!

Post by Mats » Wednesday 26 March 2008, 22:28

Well here is what I take out to the park. 220cm is maybe on the short side for carving but for ollies and 360´s this is da shit!

Just kiddin - I saw it in Davos and had to take it out for a spin. And it was suprisingly easy to handle. A very floppy nose made it less than perfect for carving but out of pist it was like a rocket.

NB: also look how I colourcoded my hat, googles and jacket for the occastion.

It´s a Radical

Post by Mats » Thursday 27 March 2008, 13:12

a small Swiss brand. 13m radius I think. It had way to much nose for pist. But othetwhise I liked it. Great that we have these sort of things to ride.

No its a Radical Surf 222 (so actually 2cm longer).

They are really nice boards and pretty light for the length. However they don't come cheap.......

I've never ridden the Surf 222 though, only shorter Radicals, which were awesome for carving.

Mats mention the brand above.

I logged on their site and they ask 1480 euros for the 222cm.8O 8O

Sorry guys but whatever good they are I prefer to stick with my Tanker that I bought for less than 300 euros incl.shipping from the other side of the pond.

As for the length yes its a ''Long board''
