It doesn't sounds good to my ears: maybe there it's easier, but here it's almost impossibile to test a board before buying it, so I think that such suggestions are a very helpful starting point for understanding which board would suit you...
I mean: rider weight from xx to yy means that you know a range (just a range) in which that board give you it's maximum, so you have just to choose which use you are going to do with it or your style of riding...

F2 datasheet

Post by István » Monday 20 November 2006, 12:01

In my view they should publish a comprehensive datasheet on their website.... this is a technical sport, F2 is an expensive brand, it should be there, no doubt.

Cheers

Obviously I agree with you. We were just talking about weight, but I couldn't find any other specs...
Strange choice. Strange choice.

Can I ask you where did you find "the official" figures?
On their site? Where?
Thanks a lot...

Well, it's just my opinion but... the weight ranges listed by F2 are so far from what I believe to work well, that I'd prefer to speak with my customers to ensure they make an informed buying decision.
I do agree that F2 is an expensive board and this is a very technically oriented market... those two points should push F2 to provide more detail. I'd just like to see the details reflect reality (as I perceive it)!

Better if they reflect reality. But I'd just like to see details (even with the sign "suggested values").

Well, even before Christmas i picked up the glossy end-user race prospect from F2 in a store, contains 24 pages. It was on a surf-shop, the other shops, about 20 with raceboarding-equipment around, I visited before (Octber to December, all about a half an hour to drive or less) hasn't put it on the desk!
It is an only raceboarding-equipment prospect, with raceboards/ platebindings/ accessories (like Boardbags only for Raceboards from 155cm up to 183cm etc.). It's written in German only.

There is an interview with Mathieu Bozzetto with photos, 2 pages explanation with all the details of board-construction and of course all board/binding specifications, surounded with very nice carving pictures and at least all country distributors.
