Despite the the warm weather during this month, and thanks to a great work with the machines each night, the slopes remained quite in good shape up to the scheduled closing day.
Of course, the domain got restricted (many slopes were closed), but enough remained opened to go back to the center at 1850 m (see in the back Val-Thorens, "Cime Caron" at 3200 meters):

The three last days, nobody on the slopes (sometimes I didn't meet anybody at all, and some lifts were turning almost empty). So, I ended up going back on snowboard (was skiing previously), and carved in quiet conditions on "le mont de la Chambre" (I had no photgraph, so, only my tracks on the pictures...) :

The days before, I chose my skis to be more confortable on the changing snow. Very easy carving slopes for skiing even at 2.00 PM in Val-thorens (Boismint slope) :

Surprisingly, 2 hours before Les Menuires closed, yesteday at about 3 PM, they were able to produce artificial snow for some minutes (for testing/maintaining I guess) :

Now, only Val-Thorens is still open till the end of next week. It should be still ok, but I'm back to work.
