We did a bit of synchronized carving in Finland. Though to get the turns laid down seems to take a few more runs..

.. and come to think of it, might seem even more odd than the tandem already does..

Synchronization a'la Finland?

It is really synchronization at 100% - two riders, one trail in the snow ... and this on one board!?

And now, quite seriously: despite appearances - is not easy to do. It takes two good players ...

mirekd: Yes, we were riding a GML tandem snowboard. Quite a curiosity since it's also my shortest board!

But back to the topic.
What to do in the summer without snow and a Swoard?

Well, as we all know, Finland is located SO HIGH UP in the north, we have SNOW and POLAR BEARS running wild around the year.
So of course we go Swoarding across the year. Push-pull you know.

I went through the archives and found a few pictures from last July, shot by our Court photographer mr. Saarelainen, as usual..

Swoarders seem to have a lot of hidden talents and creativity:-) . . .I feel boring in comparison as my summer activities are mostly cycling and bit hill walking. . .think I need a new activitivy anyone have any ideas:-)[/img]

Our way to spend summer is trivial: we carve an asphalt. That's why the roads are always bad in Russia!
