Did you kill every skier and rider with a bomb?!?!?!? There's no-one on the slope...
Maybe your private resort or... maybe it was very late and the lifts were closed!!!
:-)
The first shows a wonderful slope... GRRRRRRR!

It's my garden behind my house (joke!)

No, in fact, we just catch the short moments where there is nobody. For example at lunch time, the restaurant is full and the pistes are empty...

But if you look carefully, you can see a little speck at the top of the first piste. It's me :D

It is, and the second one too!
...Switzerland?!?!
Yes.

This resort is small, far from the closest town, and has low speed lifts. But it's why I love it: there is always few people on the slopes!

For both pictures, the altitude is 2900m at the top and about 2500m at the bottom. These steep slopes are East oriented and the snow is always excellent.

I know about 30-40 resorts in Switzerland and France, but this secret spot is the best for Extreme Carving. I prefer to die than to give its name :D

But the secret could be revealed to people coming to an unformal extremecarving week-end (March 2003 ?). Who knows? :P

Mainly slow surface lifts :D

For extremecarving, we prefer the slow lifts: a small flow implies few people on the slope and room for our turns!
Resorts with fast chair lifts like Verbier are crowded hells for all the good carvers (snowboard and ski too!)
Last time I went there (in January), I promised myself it was the last time :!:

Any plans for the March event?

Come on - tell us the name of the place! We're all friends here:-)
Actually, there are only a few small ski areas in the Valais that reach 2900m.
