ECS

Hi Christoph,

Indeed I hope, that there is nothing between us, only because of other board technique! :) You're on the list of the ECS, so If you come, I's like to change boards with you. I already will have a lot of boards in my car, maybe even some interesting to testride for you... Maybe I can have even my old asym with me, to compare it to the #1.

Maybe we even manage to adapt the suitable riding styles for the different boards... I'm just thinking in a very technical way. Did you ever try a Kessler with same width as your #1, some cm longer and in a similar flex? Would be very much interested in the result. Maybe we can find the answer at the beginning of april in Davos ;)

Hi Skywalker .....

I'm sorry to say, that I probabely won't make it to zinal this year ...... I'm also not on the list ...... there's some oher guy called christoph(e)!

Let's hope we can make it in Davos for the Carving-Session.

About Kessler and the #one ........... The #one is made by Kessler for PureBoarding ....... :-)
Joerg knew what kind of a board he wanted an Kessler builds it. This relation works now for many years.
By the time this project started Kessler used to build verry narrow boards and he saw no clue in building wider ones .....
Since last season the Kesslerboards are getting wider and wider ....... and Kessler-Riders are winning the races.
Did you ever try a Kessler with same width as your #1, some cm longer and in a similar flex?
No because it makes no sense ..... a board with the same width as the #one and the same sidecut but longer would have a huge nose and tail .... I guess this would not work!

Hope to meet you again somewhere in the snow ....

PS: the next board I'm going to testride is my new #one, it has a width of 24,5cm  ..... and don't forget to pray for snow

Nice to see a lot of conversation on this subject! I´ve just ordered a used assym board. I will compare them and see how much you have to adjust your stance etc. I think I will be able to do a more relaxed EC heelside carve. But we´ll see :o as soon as I´ve tried it!

Hi Matthias.

This is nice to hear. Which board did you order? Did you find one in your local store, or a used one from ebay or something like that?? Keep us informed about your experience! I really would like to compare an asymmetrical board to an really similar symmetrical to find out what the differences are in detail ;)

HI
I ordered a used Nitro 156 cm, 20 waist. I will compare it to my current board, a F2 Speedster GTS 158. Unfortunately we have no snow on my local slope so I will have to wait two weeks until I can try :?
Regards
Mattias
