Your question contains the answers !! Another difference is the liveliness : changing from edge to edge is faster with 168. 175 seems more heavy and less "lively"

The choice depends also what kind of slopes / snow you ride usually :
- steep / icy slopes : I would recommend 168 which allow better speed control
- wide blue / red slopes : 175 is better, faster and more stable

Could I choose again I would take 168 instead of 175. 175 is not bad at all but you won't be EC'ing all day long on your Swoard, 168 is better for anything else except powder. And I wouldn't take a non-powder board for serious powder riding anyway, nothing to gain only a beautiful board to ruin.
