Hello everyone!

It was a lot of work… beside the fact that we are very busy with the new production and development (we will give news about this in the beginning of January)… but here is finally our last Opus:

Gentleman,

thank you very much for providing this very nice video - this is really a nice christmas present for all snowboarders.

Especially i like the fact that you are not only doing EC turns - instead you have sections with normal push-pulls and favorable the very nice jumps  :clap2:

I wish you as well a very nice christmas and a happy new year.

Hope to you see you soon to do some nice turns together.

Thomas

Awesome.

Any chance we could have a super high quality version to distribute peer to peer (my edonkey is on permanently).

One thing. I think the video was not de-interlaced. Deinterlacing would yield better compression and better quality for your bits. It needs to be performed before applying any slow motion effects as well.

The one exception would be if you wanted to distribute in the mpeg2 (i.e. dvd) format which supports interlacing.

Thank you for the compliments

Yes probably, in January/February. Most people have DSL now, so it's time for high quality versions! 8)
You will see that the video was de-interlaced.

I will do some tests: applying slow motion before or after the de-interlacing. Thanks for the tip. Note that this question is also valid for Extremedreamer (Opus 2).

Thanks for the holiday gift!

Wow, a new EC video for Christmas? I guess Santa stopped by a bit early this year via Internet!

Once again, a very nice production (& smooth performance, needless to say).

* Good music, as always. (I'm so glad you guys never use punk-rock or heavy-metal, which I think are over-used for numerous action-sport videos already.)

* Nice shots at new/different angles. (Carving towards the camera on the ground level? Aerial view from the gondra/lift?)

* Looks like Nils sent Patrice to an acting school this summer, and I can clearly see the results (00:06 ~ 00:16) for the Oscars. (Joking! )

* Nice "pop", Patrice! (02:16) That's a new one for EC videos.

* Jacques doing some Extreme-Speeding ("ES"?). (02:28 ~ 02:34) 8O

Thanks for (sharing) a great holiday gift (new EC video)!

So, if I make my way to France...

Are you guys coming the SES this year?
"is that a finger in the mud there? Whoa! yeah it is! Wait, that finger has the same wedding band I have. Uh Oh..."

Heard on a recent MTB ride.
