I've just practiced a bit on the floor here, putting my feet flat on the ground into a stance I usually ride, and I observe two things when I try the heelside rotation position:

- If I keep my legs straight, I can not get my hips square to the board's direction at all
- If I flex them a bit, I can get my hips square but I feel a lot of pressure on the inside of my rear foot like I need to lift up the outside of my foot a bit
- If I flex my legs a lot, this pressure disappears completely

Do I need a bit looseness of the binding at the rear foot so I can tilt it a bit to compensate for the uncomfortable stance at the "extension" part of the turn? Same thing happens in reverse when I try toeside, now the pressure is on the outside of my rear foot.

At some point rotation really seems to fight my stance and the fact that I'm completely fixed to a board with bindings.
