Hi Pat
POWDER and Freeriding.
As much as I love Alpine and ECing, I would choose the second option ... powder and freeriding.
When I look back on my years of riding it seems like many of the lasting snowboarding memories that pop into my head on a hot summer day, have been perfect powder days on terrain that feels like you are hitting the lip when surfing. Yes, linking a few very good EC turns on a nice steep piste' are in the happy memory banks as well, but powder is when I seem to get excited and will run to the lift line as early as possible!
Cheers
Rob

Paradise No.1
Having heavenly groomed slopes all to myself without the fear of numerous nice fellow skiers and snowboarders behind me...ahahah...
As regards bad off-piste snow conditions - do you mean it is perfectly groomed EVERYWHERE?
And.... could my clone go into the Paradise No. 2?

It seems that powder riding is much more friendly than carving.... Carvers want to be alone and to spoil the un-spoilable snow themselves...
In freeride you really do appreciate friends... particularly when digging you out...
By the way, any avalanches in Para-2?

Well I chose and choose powder mostly, although in the real world I get tired of too much powder after a while and a few days on hard-pack are always welcome.
I'll stick with heli rather than teleport though - even with good technique and proper hard boots it's nice to sit down for a few minutes between runs.
Slightly OT...
I don't like the "free*" words, which I could never really figure out. They describe things which really not at all free, and mostly "free" means ballet or skate, neither of which are particularly free in any other way either.

Difficult to choose, indeed. Maybe powder (with teleportation, as it is environmentally friendly). Or maybe EC-slope (with teleportation as well). Or maybe powder. Or maybe slope. Or maybe powder. Or maybe slope. Or maybe powder. Or maybe slope...oh man!
Like many other things in life, the real wealth comes with diversity

I choose the second.
For the first option I know where to go ....
This season was close to paradise, because I made very often both ! EC with empty slopes and dedicated chairlift and also many fresh powder conditions ....

Took me a long time to be able to make up my mind.
My thoughts are that as great as extremecarving is, spending eternity on a Barthelemy-type slope might get boring.
Whereas riding a steep couloir with deep powder in high altitude remains the essence of snowboarding... Especially if you can teleport on a different summit for each ride!
I choose freeriding!

Why would you teleport you allways to Bart for slope carving even that is fabulous ride
Idea should be that you can teleport yourself to all great Aspen slopes, enormous wide slope of Oppdal, that famous private slope of Evgeny in Russia, all those Korean slopes seen in films and all others same way as to those different couloirs for off piste riding
