Thanks so much to Jacques, Patrice and alle the supporting team! It was a real pleasure to be back to the ECS. I met so many nice carvers from all over the world and I enjoyed riding with the extremecarving crowd.
Most was like every year: riding skills of participants increased again, slopes were unbelievably great, wheather was sunny most of the time but freakin' cold,...
to make things short: It should not have ended on Monday. Although I had one day more in Zinal, I had to leave way to early. Thanks to everybody, who made this event that "something special" it has been for years now

I want to echo the comments already made...
First of all a big thanks to Jacques, Patrice and the Swoard team for hosting this great event, you guys did a fantastic job.
I am still stoked with all the great moments and memories in my mind. For me it was the best ECS so far because the spirit was exceptional.
I met again my friends from all over the world and gained new ones sharing the spirit of Extremecarving.
It was like coming home to a big family event enjoying the time together.
I was sitting in the office this morning catching up with the tons of new emails still having a big smile in my face and still wearing my ECS wristband as a proud gift.
Hope to see you all next year.
Cheers
Thomas

Great event, great people! I especially want to thank:
- Starikashka for the bottle of Vodka
- The cameraman (Vahur?) who was there on Barthelemy Monday morning and hopefully made some fantastic pictures (instead of snowboarding)
- Francesco for making me laugh, as always
- Thomas (Skywalker) for the nice technical chat we had and his useful advices
- Csabi, the guy who was there with me, for driving me home in one go (1350km!!!) so I could have a nice rest
...and all the rest who made this happen.
Cheers

First of all, I want to thank the people who made this event happen and helped organize. It was great!
For me, this was the first time in Zinal at the ECS and i liked it very much. It was interesting to see some very good riders and to meet with Carvers from around the world, especially those crazy Italians...
Cheers

Please post MORE pictures and videos of all aspects of this event.
Riders like myself, who are not able to make it over to attend this great event, really appreciate seeing the pictures and videos. One of these days I hope to make it over the pond to attend. It really seems like each year the reports, from all the riders that are able to attend this event, get better and better.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Friends,
it was an exceptionell weekend - indeed. Perfectly organized with people joining from so many countries. Jaques and Patrice, what you started became a nucleus and now has surpassed the point of now return - with so many carvers being addicted; having started carving more than 20 years ago on a Nidecker Concept (156 Asymetric) and then packing the board in the cellar for years you brought me back to this - now with a Swoard 168. My first ECS and for sure not my last.
A special thanks to the "french" crew (Celine, Pierre, Julien, Anthony, Benjamin, Arnaud etc) for "having me". I will work on my French - the jokes are probably even more funny when actually understanding the pointe right away...
Carve on and see you next year!
Marcus
