It's also a good warning for all of us before the season.

Last winter THREE of my friends were caught in (different) avalanches. One of them survived in a big avalanche of 700m long... because he had luck:
- he had an airbag
- he was riding with guides
- the helicopter was around and saw a small part of the airbag at the surface.
When the group found him, he was unconscious and his mouth was full of snow. Probably 1-2 minutes later he would be found dead.

Don't count on the chance, be careful.
