i have a perfectly new one like this, never used, in my collection :)
I think the reason its new, is because owner knew it would never ever work!!

Hi!

I bumped rather by accident into this forum... A Facebook friend posted a Youtube movie of snowboarders, and that made me look to Youtube for carvers. And I found https://www.extremecarving.com. Memories came back...

Although it's now more tha 9 years ago I stood on a board. The last time I boarded, it took me 6 months to get out of my wheelchair and start learning to walk again: I fell about 300 meters in a ravine (later, I learned it was the departure of the "kilomètre lancée"). With my front foot still attached to my snowboard... Not good for the tibia :?

My first experiences were with a Crazy Banana in 1986 (I was 16) in Kitzbühel... The used boots were just normal, plain ski-boots.Nobody was capable to explain me how/what... Bindings were regular (left foot front), so I thought that's for everyone... After a day, I was no longer capable to walk, to sit nor to take a glass in my hands: my knees were as thick as a soccer ball, my behind was darker blue than a pair of jeans and my wrists, well yeah, what was left of it

The next year, someone from New Zealand (the only other crazy one with a "snowboard" in the ski resort) told me I was probably goofy :D

2 days later, I "mastered" snowboarding!

I had my accident with a Mistral "The Carving System". I still have the board (it was not damaged). It is an assymetrical board, about 1m70 long.

Seeing the movies and reading here on this forum makes me like looking forward to winter  Maybe I'll give it another try :D
