Movie format

Post by roger » Sunday 23 May 2004, 11:43

Hi guys, first post here! :)

Rilliet, Degremont or Fivat; is it possible for you to convert the movies to MPEG-format, or divX for us running Linux?

Eagerly awaiting the 175M. Nils, speed up! ;)

eh...XviD's the best DivX derivative, heh.

Best quality-size ratio of all codecs, to my knowledge. FOV encodes (one of the top, if not the top high-quality encoding groups) with XviD...gets almost 90 minutes DVD (perfect digital, essentially) quality into 700 megs.
