Well, I've decided that I'll be spending four months (December -> March) in Banff (Alberta, Canada) snowboarding everyday. Because of this great amount of time in the mountains at Lake Louise and Sunshine Village (and maybe a bit of Nakiska too, since those three are all included on the pass I'm getting), I need new equipment.
I've already decided on a Swoard.
Bindings - TD2s, but which? Step ins seem nice because of the lack of a toe clip, but apparently they're stiffer than standards..
Boots - Here's the tough one. As it's pretty much impossible to find Northwave Point 900s, ... which boots? Spring-modded Susukas? Or what?
Note that, as I'm not only already buying a Swoard, I'm also spending 4 months in Banff (a touristy-expensive town) so money isn't really an issue...

Hi,
I f money is not an issue

you can tell you footsize here and somebody will sell you a pair of Northwave point 900.
No just kiddin'

Modded Deelux/Raichle boots seem to be the best thing! Or try to test the Head Stratus boot, I hear a lot of good comments on them!
More info on the Head boots at
www.bomberonline.com shop I think!
Succes in your four months of riding I am damned jalouse

Hi Neuffy
If you are going to spend 4 mounts in slopes and if you are going to enjoy the time perfectly my recommend to you is that when you are decided your hardboot equipments you should think also the soft boot and freeride board.
You never know what kind of weather is coming and I am sure during the 4 months period there will be a lot of snowfalls and what i mean is pure powder...
I ride both hard and softboots. I always ride with my Swoard when the slopes are well groomed (I like more hardboots) but if the new snow has falled I ride with softboots cause the feeling is much more better. (don't shoot me)
You really should think about having both hard and soft boot equipment.
No matter you decide I hope you have a perfect time there.

Yeah, I've already got good enough softboot equipment...Ride Serum/Salomon Classic boards, Link Bindings and Evolution Boots (Size 12). With softboots, I can actually put out credible carves (I'm at quite a high angle already...over 45 degrees...partially because of my big feet - to avoid lifting the board off the ground during carves/skids (dammitall...I want nice size 8 or 9s!) and partially because carving is a hell of a lot easier like that than with my favoured 0-15 stance.) I wear my boots and bindings very, very tight, and so have to use athletic wrist soft-braces around my feet to prevent pain.
