That's great! Zinal is enough high and cold to hold the snow!

Today we had conditions like in April - wholly sun - hot air (Fön) - melting wet slush-snow of-piste (but slopes are on perfect grip conditions) and even same snowhigh at the half the high like mountains in Zinal. But sun was set now at 4.15 pm (see picture) and melting of this snow will give now a good base for the next 25 cm of fresh snow anounced for this night!
Sure, it wasn't at a place witch this very high reputation for alpine snowboarders, like Zinal, where hunderderts of carver can be watched.
There I saw only some adverstisements with alpine riders on it (see picture on about 1100 Meters of high). And today only about 5% of all riders on skis, skibike and snowboards on the slopes are comming with hardboots/raceboards (F2's, Nidecker's, Völkl, Pure-Boarding, Oxess (even a child with a verry short one) and ours).
Well, some nice steeper parts of skilifts and slopes (see warnings on the picture) keeps the ostrich-carvers like them on Soelden slopes away!
Ostrich-carvers ? - Ostriches stick their head down to sand - like you can see it on sometimes in Soelden, when carvers want to carve like flat with body on snow - often they make then some funny frontflips! I saw today one German copying on this way carving like flat, pushing his weight to the front of his board - also with any fronflips. I think he rather should learn how to ride on a raceboard, then watching to much the videos on Frosen Backzide!
