Tuning Deeluxe Track 700

Post by leeho730 » Tuesday 8 January 2008, 10:52

Hi,

I've recently bought Track 700. It seems that shells, especially tongue, are quite soft but what I've noted was that 1) the boots cannot be full extended to straight standing posture; 2) that by cutting some parts of the boots, I could make boots much more flexible.

For those using Track 700, did you tune your Track in any way to make it more flexible, fully extendable? Did you find that the boots were quite ok to use in extremecarving?

Thanks!

my experimental tuning on suzuka.

works very good without bts and similar, because now they have to much flex\extension, and bend the shaft of bts.

i use them without any spring modification and they works well, now i'm thinking about modification about bts.

Thanks guys! once I get the device's translation I might start working on some project!

Meanwhile, I shaved off bottom pin part of BTS on the front side to allow bts shaft to lean forward a bit more... boot is certainly quite flexible but in ice it might be a different story!

Yes apparently they're quite soft: but it doesn't matter so much because some of my friends are riding them without much complains even on icy slopes. Some prefer UPZ though and some even old models of Raichle... I think it is more in the technique than in the shoes.
Board? Just a Choc, 180...
