How do you store your board? (Storage)

Post by chazwhite42 » Tuesday 5 February 2008, 4:52

I have recently gotten into a physics discussion with a fellow hardbooter on how to “store” your boards during the off-season. I am not talking issues of base waxing or removing bindings… rather, I am wondering in what orientation should a board be stored in? Does it make a difference if the board is stood upon its end (tilted against a wall), laying flat on a hard surface (flat on its base), or tilted up on its side (along the edge)? I argue that when a board is stored laying flat that it may not be good for the camber. I feel that a board should be stored on its side. Am I being just too protective/Superstitious or is there a correct way to orientation your board during storage?

vertical storage seems the best, shall it be on side ( takes lots of room) or vertical... all factories store vertically...
