I'll try to make it, need to find a lift from Frankfurt Area first though. I'm sure it will be a nice meeting. (I'ld love to join the Swallowmania in La Grave even more, but it's too far away for me).

The Very 1st European Freeride Snowboard Test – 2nd Edition !

18th – 20th January 2008

In the fact that the Freeriders and Hikers Section, when it comes to snowboarding, stand in the back and boards and gear for Freeriders and Hikers are rare to find on the big testevents and the possibility to get a testride, split- and longboards generally get more and more in the background, Pro-Rider Ralph Castelberg (Initiator www.First-Tracks.org) decided to organize the 2nd Edition of the European Freeride Snowboard Test called the “Freeride-Days”, upcoming January (18th-20th 2008) in Davos
This Test is open to the public and riders can test on the test-days (Saturday & Sunday) some of the best Freeride Snowboards and Gear available on the market.

Besides the testing of the newest Freeride Snowboards and Gear there will be a high-end Avalanche Training Field where you can train you’re your Transciever or chill to some music from the soundsystem.
The Instructors Team of the Mountain will go freeriding with you and show you how to judge the avalanche risks and check if a run is to dangerous or save to ride or how to use a transceiver.
And to exchange ideas, news and party with your friends there will be some party´s and live concert´s in town:

On Friday 18th January 2008 20:00 CET we will start “The Days” with the riders – gathering @ the top secret bar in Davos joining a live jam Session and Music from our DJ´s.
On Saturday 19th January 2008 20:00 CET – after our first day riding and testing the newest Equipment – we will join together @ the top secret bar in Davos for a massive crazy live Concert and after we will party to the hottest sounds run by our Selecta!

Accomodation:
As it's well known, many riders prefer to sleep in a camper, a bus or the car, davos has an official camping place in davos-glaris (close by the rinerhorn) and for the freeride-days it will probably (tbc) be possible to park the car/caravan/bus on the pischa parking lot and sleep there.
