Hi Alex,

Livigno is my favourite spot for snowboarding. I go there with my friends almost every year. All the slopes are good for EC, but the best selection for me is:
- Trepalle - Skiarea Mottolino
- Mottolino - Skiarea Mottolino
- Blesaccia-II - Skiarea Carosello 3000
- Fontane-Vetta (Skydancer lift) - Skiarea Carosello 3000

Ale,

Also my favorite place!

Trepalle is a very good slope, although not steep enough. Maybe the last part of it. But other than that a very good slope.

There is a very good bar on the other side of the same hill with a real DJ (2 turntables, + sometimes a live saxophone). It looks like on old house built of wood.

Once you find that bar, there is a not too long, but very steep black slope underneath that bar. That is great for EC!

Cheers

Hi Alex,

I think that Livigno is the best Italian carving place and my favorite as well.
The slopes that Milosh mentioned are sick carving slopes with perfect grooming and my favorites too.
Unfortunately I'll be there X-mass and New years day in total 10days.
Saying this because will be little bit crowded but not to much according other resorts that I've been the previous years.

Below is a foto of Fontane-Vetta (Skydancer lift) - Skiarea Carosello 3000 at approx 11am X-mass day.
Although the luck of snow last season, people in Livigno they did their best to keep the slopes in perfect shape.

Enjoy

Don't miss to try the snow go-kart and the ski doo on the frozen lake. Shopping is also nice due to being a tax free place. Branded spirits are very cheap....

Yeah I second to Istvan the spirits are cheap and the ski doo is a great fun.
Also there's a Porshe test drive in the snow farther Carossello 3000 lift in the way to Forcola pass. It's a great fun to be in these cars drifting all the time and all the track around.
Blue line bus makes a stop right outside the test sender if you dont want to take your car.

So, I was there from 23.2 to 1.3. Very nice place to carve. Some slopes which are mentioned upstairs are very good, but not enough steep for me.
But I liked both pistes along Seggiovia Valfin lift and Giorgio Rocca piste.
And I also saw some guys which had ride oxygen board, and one of them had a sticker of Swoard on his helmet. Are you here maybe?:)
