UPZ 2008

Post by Marko » Tuesday 27 November 2007, 17:14

Hello,

reading posts on the forums about Deeluxe T700 makes me doubtful about the quality of the boots.

Another option I have is UPZ boot 07/08. So the new UPZ`s line.

Has anyone already tried them? As I heard, the quality has increased comparing previous products. New boot also comes with full thermo liner.

I think the main problem was hurtful shin, because of low tongue?

I have tested the orange Virus UPZ (and bought it afterwards). The major problems of the former models seem to be solved. Fit is perfect to me. But this is a point you have to find out for yourself. There are some minor issues that are due to the construction -> difficult entry.

Please be aware that this boot is relatively stiff and has absolut no lateral-flex.

Yes I tried the UPS in 2001 and they were like a spanish shoe for me... very bad fit. But a friend of mine is riding them since they were around in the market and he's quite happy though he confirms that the fit is not very good.

Shin pain... yes!
I hope the internal shoe is different: the other was made by "titanium"!:-)

Well the truth is that I had the UPS asymetrical but that was no good shoe. I would love to have Megaflex at that time! Then I switched to Raichle for about ten years
