Suggestions please for a new board
Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for suggestions for a new or second board. I've already got an old, very old Niedecker Predator 155 that I've had since 1992 and it's worn out.
I'm 174cm height and (these days) 86kgs.
Suggestions greatfully recieved.
Tim

it's a nightmare, last time I bought a new board was so long ago.
I'm intermediate to advanced, enjoy carving and freeriding.
I do have some Burton light weight race bindings that will fit a new or second hand board. O1 thing I might need is shims or cants of about 3 degrees. Do I need them?
My current board is asymmetric 155cm and I just don't know which length I need this time.
The real shame for me is that I only get on the slopes once a year.
Not sure about budget, will probably end up with a second hand bard.
Hope this is a bit more info.
Thanks,
Tim

I would recommend something mid 160, slightly wider, in region of 20-21 wide board. But try to find boiard made during last 5 or so years
If you can find Prior 4WD or Donek Axis they would be great choice.
Second, but not as good can be also Burton UltaPrime which might be asier task to find. Naturally all depends where you are located

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your suggestions. I've ended up getting a F2 el diablo 161. In reality it gives me over 8cm more edge length than my old board.
The edge length has increased as my old boards metal edges don't run tip to tail.
I would have loved to have gone longer, but i don't get on the slopes as much as most of you. I wish I did but we don't get much snow in London!
Thanks again,
Tim
