Viewpoints differ, but I like best Soelden and Pitztal. Hintertux is quite good, too.

Greetings, Eduard.

Pitztal: nice, but old lift´s
Sölden: Top spot...big, not crowded...but they have ruined the glacier Rettenbach....it was better bevore
Stubai: too many people, not steep enough,
Tux: not my favor
Kitzsteinhorn: havent been there......

Yes, but old and slow lifts (in Pitztal) have a good side: few people on the snow - ideal for EC! And I have forgotten Kaprun / Kitzsteinhirn: very nice, too, but when I was there it was very crowded...

Hey

ED, I was at Silvretta Nova a few years ago. Yes 45 Americans invaded the quiet VorAlberg area. It was our favorite Piste. It was funny when we asked for directions at a Bus stop and a girl said, "ahh I heard zee Americans were here"

Please dont take this as a insult but you guys ride alot like my crew here in New England. We dont use the jump turn much unless we are messing around but our styles are quite similar. I ride mostly Coiler from Canada but use Proflex Intec with Heel and toe lift at 19inchs and 60 -65 degrees.
I do use a Nidecker Tornado 173 some.
Nice Video, Looks like you could fit right in with our group.

In fact...I like Silvretta Nova too - my parents live half a hour away from there...so I´m quite often there..... It is so cool if you go there and people get crazy about the driving style.... they dont´t expect it there :bravo:

And it is a nice area.... :clap2:

We should do a session there - if the snow will come someday

Naah, that´s not all.....
but i´m afraid there are no pictures. :wall:

The slopes were so perfect (especially the steep one at the "Rettenbach"glacier) that nobody wanted to lose time with taking pictures.
The first time when i had a look at my watch it was 11.30 am, so there was even no time for a lunch brake.

Big compliment for Armin (the swiss guy with the red jacket and the virus), never seen such a cool and aggressiv riding style.
Just remember the rain of 10 cm big ice balls coming down the slope when he got wild :clap3: :pray2:

Unfortunately i was the only one with a Swoard, so i think everyone thought that i can do the same carves than J&P can do. :naughty:
It was just my 4th day on the new board, the 4th day trying the push-pull, with new boots (modified northwaves .950 with the DeLuxe Thermoliner), and very weak legs.

It´s a long way to go for me, to be able to do the same carves than J&P.

But it was really cool to meet some nice people and i hope to see you again.

Yep, we were there but we had no idea were to find others cause nobody informed any place before we went there. In this situation we decided to stay low altitude, cause this was our first days on snow and riding first days on high is allways pain. So we stayed all three days in Giggijoch area. We had idea to go Rettenbach too but to miss some riding time without knowing that there will be others, we skipped that option.
Naah, sorry to miss you folks, but we still had nice time, our first days on snow this winter. Partially is was sad to miss you cause we had cameras with us and we could have filmed, as we did too, will post some pics later.

I uploaded short "home video" of our lazy surfin in Giggijoch. Pretty useless stuff and no music but anyway :D

@Mc Fussel:

Holy sh.t, :silenced:
i´ll not be able to join you next weekend, but perhaps we can meet somewhere in January.

I´ll stay 3 days in Bruneck (Kronplatz) the weekend before X-mas :xmas: , and i´ll take some photos and a video.
It´s a really cool place for carving, i like it even more than sölden. :bravo:

See ya!!!
