1 cm makes such a big difference?

ha ha ha....well sayd !!!
one cm is not that much,but it makes the diference when we talk about a board witch is already quite narrow .I'm always used to ride wider boards,something more like a race board 19-19,5 I didn't want that the difference wuold be a problem for my way of riding...

Test it, and you'll see. It won't make that big difference. From 19 to 17 cm the binding angle has to increase about 5°. I would never choose (or exclude) a board because of its theoretical specs - especially not the width.

you're probably right...it shouldn't make souch a big difference.what are your bindings angle on the Gladiator?on my 183 Rabanser i have a low angle 53 rear and 58 front..

roundabout 65/70. Don't know exactly because scale goes only up to 60°.
