Ever heard from tucker butt gear

Post by Peter » Sunday 15 January 2006, 13:16

Hello Carvers,
i have seen an interessting protection wear from tucker. Here is the adress: http://www.snowboardingtips.com/gear.html. It is a good looking protection pant. Have anyone ordered this pant here to europe? What are your experiences? Is the quality like announced through the web-page? Was the ordering a simple case?

Thank you for your opinions

Hi Peter,

I have this butt gear. I highly recommend it. I bought it soon after I began snowboarding about 6 years ago. I never ride without it.

I ordered it to Europe (Austria). I had to pay customs tax when I picked it up from the post office. Can't remember how much the tax was, but it was maybe 20% or so. The guy there at SnowboardingTips was very helpful with my e-mail enquiries and the ordering was simple.

I find the quality to be great. After 6 or so years it's still as good as new.

You wear it under your snowboard trousers. I found that the velcro straps on the legs to be a bit scratchy on my skin, but now I always ride with my pair of long nylon/elastane running trousers/tights underneath and I never have that problem anymore.

Hello Guy,

thank you! I have ordered a butt gear right now! I have seen two or three other protection pants, but they have had no good design. But the but gear looks great.

Hi all,

i'am back from riding in Mayrhofen/Zillertal/Austria and have tested the butt gear.

Great product! Is as good as pronounced from Website. No drawbacks.

Hi, what would you use to protect your legs?
