Agree with Silber, The Lancelot is a pretty hard flex.
It's a very good board for carving (172).
Not the best for powder since:
- The swallow Tail is too small => not efficient
- There is no pin tail.
Length is ok (172) if you're looking for an easy handling board even if reactivity is not as good as Boheme 172.
For 199 euros it's a good deal ...

BTW, I am still searching for a good bargain on a real swallow.. boheme, sw, miura or phoenix... if anybody can have any of these at a discount...

I may meet Sebastien Perret (is Phenix snowboards shaper, was Boheme snowboards shaper) in 2 weeks.Silber wrote:BTW, I am still searching for a good bargain on a real swallow.. boheme, sw, miura or phoenix... if anybody can have any of these at a discount...
I will ask him if he still has some used swallow to sell ... (i don't think so)
My preferences go for these boards (Boheme, Phenix) since reactivity is excellent. By the way the pintail is pretty big so that a 172 (Boheme) or 173(phenix) can be ridden in every conditions on all terrains (even betweeen trees)
The most important: phenix snowboards are 150 euros cheaper then swell panik and quality looks the same to me.
Swell paniks are real good snowboards but i do not like that much the Magistral series: easy but a bit soft and lack of reactivity. Nevertheless, the Amok is a Powder missile !!!!
Never tried a Miura (chef d'oeuvre

Hi Benn,
i've been snowboarding for about 18years, and only with hard boots till 5 years ago. just a few words on the Miura, and the fact some people believes it should be used with soft boots only. It's available in 3 different flexes, according to your weigh and style. My friends and I have 4 mucho 191, and believe me, we have used it in almost any slope and snow conditions, with both soft and hard boots. Try it for a few days (sorry a few hours are not enough) and will be a great love, whatever bindings you should have...
