Post by pokkis » Monday 20 February 2006, 20:40

Dont worry winter is not over yet even ECS is over :evil3:

Nordic session marathon is bout start very soon:

Ojankaivajat Oppdal CarvingCamp 20-25.3 in famous Oppdal (Norway) slopes as seen in SnowWars movies. Very unformal session with good atmosphere, we look every day based on weather and folks feeling where to ride.
Then on Sunday just 250 km to next stop
AlpinePunk Harbooters Unite 26.3-2.4 in Duved/Tegefjäll (Sweden) which are in Åre. Mats, THE man from Sweden, has organized lots of nice stuff there again for us :pray2:

More than happy see you in both or either of sessions, i believe way there is not longer than it is for us to come Zinal

If you need any info, just ask, i try to answer all questions :bravo:

We are back :D
Oppdal session we had first two snowy days with pure powder rides and after that it was just carving in top-perfect-condition-slopes 8)
HBU in Duved we got 6 days of snow with plenty of soft rides and lots of other good stuff.
Sorry to you who misses these  but perhaps some of you can joy later some video clips and/or join us next year, cause that will be another great session.

I can just confirm what Pokkis said. Unfortunately, I could not make it to HBU in Åre, but spent five days in Oppdal. If you want big, wide, steep and well groomed slopes just for yourself ECing, powder riding on wide areas, or easy beginners and intermediate slopes almost empty, just come and join us in Oppdal next time. Riding and being almost the only one on the mountain is a great experience. Hopefully, Pokkis has some photos or videos as a documentation.
